this album rulz but it also kinda sux

quick & useless reviews by two former music directors from a college radio station you couldn't give a fuck less about.
Man, this album is interesting as fuck. Seriously, it takes a few listens to get into the experimental pop weirdness that is I’m Sorry You Hit Your Head, but the writing is pretty damn good, and the weird arrangements and instrumentation just work so freakin’ well it’s ridiculous. It actually kind of reminded me of the new Flaming Lips album a bit, albeit less dark. Really though, it’s pretty rad, check it out.
overall rating: kinda rulz.
Amanda edit: this album is way rad. doesn’t remind me of Flaming Lips, but doesn’t really remind me of anything. I feel like with this many ideas it should probably sound way less cohesive/good but like, it doesn’t.
overall rating: kinda rulz.
